Local 8th-Graders Get Etiquette Lesson

Eighth-grade students at KIPP Sharpstown College Prep recently were guests for an etiquette class. Sodexho, KIPP's food-service vendor, provided the hands-on lesson.
KIPP Sharpstown serves students (5th through 8th grade) in the Sharpstown and Gulfton neighborhoods.
Sharpstown's student population is 22 percent African-American, 73 percent Hispanic, 3 percent Asian, 2 percent Caucasian and 92 perecent low-income.
