HS girls soccer: Bellaire defeats Lamar

Bellaire registered a 1-0 win over Lamar in District 20-5A high school girls soccer action on Friday.

Jessica Spence scored the only goal of the game to lead the Cardinals over the Redskins.

The win ups Bellaire to 9-4-3 on the season and 7-2-1 in district play.

Bellaire will next host Westbury on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

The loss drops Lamar to 14-4-2 overall and 10-1-1 in district play.

Lamar will next host Chavez on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
