Football: Episcopal faces tough start
Episcopal head football coach Steve Leisz knows the importance of a fast start in the Southwest Preparatory Conference. QB Joseph Bush, WR John Caldwell, WR Cameron Kline, WR Luke Williams, RB Malcolm Bowman, OL Jackson Stager, OL Dominic Garcia, DL Victor Calvillo. Episcopal players to watch: QB Austin Robinson, RB Cole Miller, WR Connor Leisz, OG/C Matt Weisburger, DE Max Skibber, DT Pete Looney, DT Johan Rask, LB Moody Heard, LB Blake Henningsen, CB Lloyd Julian, FS Scotty Adair. Bush completed 20 of 38 passes for 332 yards and three touchdowns. Bush's most popular targets were Caldwell (three receptions for 121 yards) and Kline (nine catches for 98 yards), who had a receiving and rushing touchdown to lead Dallas St. Mark's. Robinson ran 20 times for 110 yards and three scores and completed 14 of 26 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns.
