HS Volleyball: Bellaire defeats Milby
Bellaire defeated Milby in District 20-5A girls high school volleyball action on Tuesday.
The win ups the Cardinals to 20-8 on the season and 10-0 in district play. Bellaire won the match in three games, 25-1, 25-9, 25-9, led by Khourtni Fears who recorded seven kills.
Bellaire will next host Sam Houston on Friday at 5:15 p.m.
The loss drops the Buffaloes to 1-10 on the season and 1-9 in district play. Milby will next visit Westbury on Friday at 7:45 p.m.
Kiayna O'Neal had 10 kills in the loss.
