HS Volleyball: Bellaire defeats Westbury

Bellaire defeated Westbury in District 20-5A girls high school volleyball action on Tuesday.

The win ups the Cardinals to 22-8 on the season and 12-0 in district play. Bellaire won the match in three games, 25-12, 25-15, 25-13, led by Jenelle Jordan who recorded 12 kills.

Bellaire will next visit Chavez on Friday at 4 p.m.

The loss drops the Rebels to 6-9 on the season and 6-6 in district play. Westbury will next host Lamar on Friday at 4 p.m.

Kathy Lee Lenore had eight kills in the loss.
