HS girls basketball: Bellaire defeats Westbury
Bellaire overpowered Westbury 98-21 in girls high school basketball action on Thursday, in a District 20-5A match-up.
The win ups Bellaire to 19-3 overall and 6-0 in district play.
Raven Burns scored an impressive 34 points in the victory.
Bellaire will next visit Lamar on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
The loss drops Westbury to 6-7 overall and 4-4 in district play.
Quanisha Sheppard put up seven points in the loss.
Westbury will next visit Milby on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
