Recycle old electronics for a chance to win an iPad 2
The Texas Medical Center Sustainability Advisory Council has organized an electronics recycling event to reduce the amount of electronic waste ending up in local landfills.
"One of the goals of the TMC Sustainability Advisory Council is to educate and foster a responsible approach to managing e-waste within the medical center and the community at-large," said Rick Dillard, chair of the TMC Sustainability Council, in a press release.
Residents who drop off items will be eligible to enter the drawing for an iPad 2, provided by Compucycle.
Collections will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 30 at John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science, 15151 Hermann Drive.
