Southern Living showcase home to open in May

Houston's first Southern Living Showcase Home opens in May,

Bellaire's first Southern Living Showcase Home will debut on the weekends of May 4-6, 12-13 and 19-20 at 5307 Aspen.

The 4,777 square-foot home was designed by JKM Designs with interior design by Edwina Alexis Interiors. It has four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, library, craft room, study, mudroom, gardening stand and outdoor living rooms.

Guests will be allowed inside the home for tours as well as demos for cooking, gardening and decorating. Admission is $10. Proceeds will benefit the Houston Center for Friends of the Bellaire Library.

The house will be open from noon to 6 p.m. on May 4 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on all other days.
