Amy Liu counts those that have supported her growth to be among her greatest assets.

“Regardless of anything that happens or how my future will unfold,” she said, “I am aware that people who care for me are some of the greatest values I should appreciate. My parents, close friends, and inspiring teachers are essential in continuously building me into the person I am, and the person of my potential. We should all realize how important those we depend on really are, and without their support and encouragement, happiness becomes an impossible, unrealistic aim.”

Favorite book: “ ‘Best Friends Forever.’ It is about different kinds of friendships that I found interesting.”
