Veritas students win dozens of medals for art
Students in first through eighth grades at the Veritas Christian Academy recently won multiple medals and ribbons at the ACSI Art Festival.
The academy students took home 28 medals for their winning artwork: 13 gold, 10 silver and five bronze.
A total of 39 works of art were submitted to the contest, going up against 325 works from 11 other schools.
The categories included paper art, painting, sculpting, drawing, fiber art, printmaking, graphic arts, miscellaneous arts and mixed media.
