Rotary honors board member
METRO Board Member Cindy Siegel was named Vocational Person of the Year by the Bellaire/Southwest Houston Rotary this May.
Siegel received the award for her work promoting vocations and professions and assisting local organizations throughout the Bellaire area.
“I can guarantee you will see her associated with almost every community fundraiser and improvement project in some fashion,” said Bellaire City Manager, Bernie Satterwhite, in a May press release.
Satterwhite presented the award to Siegel at a recent Rotary ceremony at the BraeBurn Country Club.
Before serving on the METRO Board, Siegel was the Bellaire Mayor and a Bellaire City Council Member for approximately 16 years.
