Houston religious leaders to hold panel discussion
Houston area religious community leaders will hold a panel discussion titled "Dietrich Bonhoeffer's Message for Us Today" from 7-8:30 p.m. May 22.
The discussion will focus on the study of Bonhoeffer, a German Lutheran pastor, and the actions he took against Nazi tyranny.
Participants include the Rev. Sam Craven, senior associate rector at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church; Professor Randy Hatchett, director of the School of Theology at Houston Baptist University; Marcia Kugler, program director at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church; Jeannette Clift George, founder and artistic director of A.D. Players; and Rabbi Ranon Teller of Congregation Brith Shalom.
The discussion will take place at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church, 6221 Main St., Houston.
