Bellaire Library hosts doll-making demonstration
A doll-making demonstrations and an exhibit of original art dolls will be held at the Bellaire Library, 5111 Jessamine, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 9.
Members of the Texas Association of Original Doll Artists, or TAODA, will show off their creations of clay, porcelain, wood, fiber and other materials.
The group was founded in 1999 by 10 doll artists and has grown to include some 50 members. TAODA members work to educate the public about dollmaking art.
