Mitsi Dancing School summer camp signup until June 15
Mitsi Dancing School will offer four summer dance camp sessions, as well as summer dance classes on select dates in July.
Summer camp is open to boys and girls ages 6-9 and 10-14. The four sessions will run Monday through Friday, from July 2-6, July 9-13, July 16-20 and July 23-27. The first session from July 2-6 costs $160 because there are no classes July 4. The other weekly sessions cost $200. Registration is required by June 15.
A minimum of 10 students is required per weekly session. If not enough students sign up, that particular week's session might be canceled. Moreover, there will be a performance opportunity at the Miller Outdoor Theatre Kids Show Friday, July 6.
Summer camp classes include ballet, modern dance, Chinese dance, math, reading, crafts, stage pose, hair styling and dance critique. Those who attend summer camp will be able to bring snacks to eat during breaks and are asked to bring their own lunch Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Students are to bring money on Wednesday so the class can eat at a restaurant. Camp runs through 5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, with 5 p.m. early dismissal Fridays.
Mitsi Dancing School asks that parents notify school personnel of pickups later than 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday or later than 5 p.m. Fridays. The school will make arrangements to have a staff member remain at the school with your child. There will be a charge of $1 per minute after 5:30 Monday-Thursday and after 5 p.m. Fridays.
Mitsi Dancing School will also offer classes on weekends. Classes include ballet, Chinese dance, modern dance, jazz, tap and Latin ballroom. The classes are open to everyone ages 3 through adult.
Mitsi Dancing School is located at 9889 Bellaire Blvd., C-335, Houston, and can be reached at 832-638-2185. Contact the school by Friday, June 15, to register. Mitsi Dancing School and its teachers reserve the right to change class times or class content to suit the needs of the students. Parents will be notified of any changes.
