Engineering firm exec trades 5BD in Southdale

Alan T. McLain and Jeannie Rawlings Sumner transferred a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 4309 Oleander St. in Bellaire to Joseph J. Chen and Regina L. Lewis on Jan. 31.

McClain acquired the property in April 2007. The 3,857-square-foot house was built in 1945 in the Southdale subdivision. It is valued at $627,616.

Mr. McLain is a director of surveying and mapping at Brown & Gay Engineers, an engineering firm. He previously worked as the president of TSPS.

He holds a B.S. in geology from the University of South Florida.
