Red Mango holds grand reopening

The Red Mango store located at 2565 Amherst St. in Rice Village held a grand reopening event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23.

Customers were invited to create their own treats at the newly converted self-serve location. The event also featured giveaways and a gathering of 20 luxury cars by Houston Coffee and Cars from 10 a.m. to noon.

"We are so excited to host a grand reopening for our new self-serve store and also share this special day with car enthusiasts from all over Houston," owner Joey Se said, according to a press release. "Red Mango is about treating yourself well while enjoying the perfect swirl of your own unique combination in the cafe-style setup."

The new store offers 10 all-natural flavors of yogurt and the opportunity for customers to garnish their desserts with toppings such as fresh fruit, nuts, granola, sprinkles, gummy bears and M&Ms.
