Bellaire Little League accepting donations for fundraiser
The Bellaire Little League is accepting donations for a sports complex fundraiser, with the new fields slated to open in the fall.
The name of the fundraising campaign is Dirt to Diamonds.
The new sports complex will be located at Pine Street and Avenue B, in Bellaire, adjacent to Horn Academy, according to a release from the Bellaire Little League.
Two regulation little league baseball fields and one T-ball field are currently being built, along with such amenities as restrooms, batting cages, covered bleachers, computer-controlled directional lighting and electronic scoreboards.
The fundraising campaign goal is $750,000, with a number of naming opportunities available for major donors.
Donation checks may be made out to Bellaire Little League — D2D Campaign and mailed to P.O. Box 2016, Bellaire, TX 77402.
