Project IDEAKids to offer summer camp
The Bellaire Parks and Recreation Center will host the Project IDEAKids Lab summer camp on digital photography from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20 through Friday, Aug. 24.
Children will learn to look at the world through the lens of a digital camera and will be taught how to take photographs from many different aspects.
Participants will also use photo-editing software to manipulate pictures and create works of art. A CD will be provided to parents at the end of the week containing their child's work.
The camp is for children age 5-12 and costs $215 per child. Before- and after-camp hours can be arranged.
The Bellaire Parks and Recreation Center is located at 7008 S. Rice Ave. in Bellaire.
