Boys volleyball training camps offered at Spike Sport

Boys in grade five through 12 can enroll in volleyball training at Spike Sport.

The first training camp starts Aug. 14 and runs for three weeks. The cost to register is $135. Teams meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. The next training session will be offered from Sept. 11 to Sept. 27. Sign ups should be completed a week in advance or a $15 late fee will be charged.

The camps will focus on skills such as serving, passing, setting, hitting, defense and team concepts. Players with or without experience can sign up.

The official league teams will form in November and finish in June. Teams play nine tournaments and meet twice a week at Spike Sports. Tryouts are held every Sunday at Spike Sport from 4-7 p.m. Contact Coach Ramin Sadrai at 281-785-7315.
