Texas Woman's University to hold open house

An open house at Texas Woman's University will take place from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 6 in the Institute of Health Sciences-Houston Center.

The open house is for prospective transfer students studying nursing, health studies or business, or for graduate students studying physical or occupational therapy, nutrition, health care administration and the executive MBA program.

A session on admissions, student services and financial will be held from 8:30-10 a.m., followed by an academic preview from 10 a.m. to noon. Optional campus tours will be offered from 11 a.m. to noon.

Breakfast will be available free of charge, and a contest for a $1,000 tuition credit will be offered to one transfer student and one graduate student.

The Institute of Health Sciences-Houston Center is located at 6700 Fannin St. in the Texas Medical Center in Houston. Parking is available for a fee at the Texas Woman's University Methodist Garage on Main Street.
