The Houston ISD middle school lunch menu for the week of Oct. 1-5 is as follows:

Monday, Oct. 1: Chicken nuggets, chicken corndog, steamed carrots, steamed spinach, diced pears, beef soft taco, beef nachos, charro beans, lettuce and tomatoes

Tuesday, Oct. 2: Hamburger, sloppy Joes, steamed peas, mashed potatoes, sliced peaches, beef-and-cheese burrito bowl, cheese quesadilla, steamed corn, lettuce and tomatoes

Wednesday, Oct. 3: Soft beef taco, beef nachos, baby carrots, refried beans, orange wedges, lettuce and tomatoes

Thursday, Oct. 4: Pasta with meat sauce, cheese pizza, green beans, peas and carrots, pineapple chunks, beef-and-cheese burrito bowl, cheese quesadilla, steamed corn, lettuce and tomatoes

Friday, Oct. 5: Catfish with roll, chicken-fried steak fingers with roll, mashed potatoes, cucumber slices, fresh pear, cheese quesadilla, chicken soft taco, charro beans, lettuce and tomatoes
