The Houston ISD elementary school's lunch menu for the week of Oct. 8-12 is as follows:
Monday, Oct. 8: Turkey and cheese slider, whole-grain chicken nuggets, roasted sweet potato, steamed broccoli and fresh orange
Tuesday, Oct. 9: Chicken corndog, whole-grain hamburger, cucumber slices, sweet potato fries and apricot halves
Wednesday, Oct. 10: Beef soft taco, whole-grain Frito pie, steamed carrots, charro beans and home-style applesauce
Thursday, Oct. 11: Turkey lasagna with roll, whole-grain cheese pizza, steamed corn, green beans and diced pears
Friday, Oct. 12: Turkey hotdog, fish nuggets, steamed carrots, peas and sliced peaches
